Born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia, local artist Mara Wilson is known for her realistic paintings and drawings. Wilson specializes in customized portraits using multiple mediums including pen and ink, graphite, charcoal, oils, and acrylics.

Wilson is currentaly attending West Virginia University majoring in art education with concentration in painting. Wilson’s drawings and paintings combine strong discipline with her passion to recreate old family photographs by using a variety of mediums. Whether painting a portrait from an old balck and white photograph taken during World War II or sketching a freshly produced photograph, Wilson’s photo recreations are as realistic as he photographs themselves.
