Nic RomanoliNic has plenty of experience creating the perfect salon–Nico is the fifth spa he’s owned in his 30 year career. Nic’s talent will have you coming back time and again. Who wouldn’t trust their hair to the man who has styled for international designers like Chanel, Aldolfo and Carl Lagerfeld? He served as president of the West Virginia State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists for 8 years. He also worked for Lanza International as their top educator. He is now the Artistic Director of Nico Hair and skin care line.

Treva GalesTreva is West Virginia’s only exclusive color specialist. Treva has been a colorist for the past 11 years working with Nicholas Romanoli first at Tonique, and now at Nico. Anthony ButlerAnthony has been a cosmetologist at Nico Spalon since 2005. He has become one of Nico’s top designers, specializing in innovative color techniques. He is superior with blonde hues and highlighting. Anthony also works with Foto Romanoli and Harley Davidson photo shoots creating stunning hair that is camera ready. Anthony enjoys doing event hair. His Up-do’s are works of art and his blow dry technique sets him a part from the rest. Anthony is now a certified Keratin Complex technician and educator. Rick StacheA true blue-and-gold-blooded West Virginian, Rick Stache currently serves as the Artistic Director at Nico Spalon. During his illustrious 32-year career, Rick has had his works published in Passion Magazine, the salon industry-leading publication. He was also among 5 stylists selected to prepare 26 international models for the opening of the Chanel Boutique at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. Currently, he is a certified Keratin Complex technician and educator. Rick’s eloquent use of color and shear intuition provides his clients with what they desire, whether its contemporary classic or racy and progressive!

Audra MayhewJoining the team in November 2007, Audra is credited for bringing enthusiasm to the NICO’ team. She takes pride in providing her clients with the highest quality of service. She listens to each client and has an ability to customize each clients style to exactly what they want while contributing her own unique touch to make a completely personalized look. Audra is continuously educating herself to stay above the trends in the industry by attending hair shows all over. Rachel HarmanAn essential part of the Nico team since December 2007, Rachel brings an eye for creativity and complimentary styles to the table. After obtaining a degree in Fashion Merchandising from WVU, Rachel still had higher aspiration levels, both educational and professional. Since acquiring her degree in Cosmetology from Morgantown Beauty College, Rachel has a demonstrated proficiency with blonds and the Keratin Complex straightening system (as she is a certified Keratin Complex Technician and educator). Rachel’s un yielding attention to finite detail keeps her clients returning demanding more!

Whitney CaytonWhitney can take a bland and boring hairstyle to hot and trend-setting. She specializes in creating a hairstyle that accentuates your structure; resulting is a flawless presentation. Seth GartinSeth comes to Nico as a native of Morgantown. His experiences as an instructor at WVU have shown Seth the level of professionalism needed when offering services to his clients. Seth is an expert of focusing and responding to his clients’ needs and striving to exceed their expectations. Seth’s brilliant cuts and colors are inspired by music, art and photography. True to the Nico tradition he loves making people look and feel great. Seth enjoys interacting with his clients about their personal style and he can craft the perfect look for them. Jessica WalkerNico is proud to introduce the newest addition to our family of designers. Jessica Walker, a Morgantown native, graduated in February of 2007 from the Aveda Institute of New York. After graduating Jessica began working in the Eva Scrivo Salon in Manhattan, rated one of the “Best of the Best” by Allure magazine. At Eva Scrivo, Jessica specialized in hair coloring and worked extensively with celebrity clientele, as well as styling for photo shoots that appeared in both Allure and Martha Stewart Livin magazines. In addition to coloring, cutting, and styling hair, Jessica is great with make-up application and up-do designing for any occasion. She is excited to bring her big city experience to Morgantown. |

Sharon MentusSharon, a new member to our Nico team. Sharon brings a new meaning to skincare. Let her put the Ahhhh back in your skin! As an Esthetician she embellishes the traditional European Facial for the ultimate in skin care solutions for every skin type. She will address the condition and health of your skin and you will leave with a glowing complexion and a renewed state of mind, and a skin care regime for a long-term improvement of the skin. Sharon’s moto is “promote-prepare-pamper” the skin. Sharon continues to further her education as to provide more knowledge in the world of skin which shows her passion for promoting healthy skincare for the face & the body. A perfect compliment to a facial treatment, she also loves to make woman feel more beautiful by her artisity in makeup. She will strive to make her clients happy for that special occasion or wedding day. Last but not least the “No Hair Zone” , special waxing to target those areas.
