Eyelash Extension Policies

Nico Spalon offers eyelash extension services by appointment only; when you book an appointment, we ensure that time is set aside specifically for you to receive the precise service(s) requested.

Cancellation or Rescheduling

At the time of booking, all guests are required to pay a Security Deposit, equal to 50% of the price of their selected service.  A minimum of one full business day notice must be given to Nico Spalon and/or your lash extension artist in order to reschedule or cancel appointments. Failing to provide the notice required herein will result in a forfeiture of your Security Deposit.

Your Security Deposit will also be forfeited if you miss your appointment without giving us notice of and kind. Additionally, in such instances, Nico Spalon may require you to prepay the entire service charge for all future appointments.

By consenting to this booking/cancellation policy, you acknowledge and agree that it will be extremely difficult and unlikely for Nico Spalon to schedule another client, for a similar appointment, within the time frame held exclusively for you. You further acknowledge and agree that, in order to recoup a portion of losses which will be incurred due to untimely cancellations or rescheduling, Nico Spalon shall be entitled to retain any Security Deposit forfeited in accordance with this policy.

All services are performed on an appointment only basis. We charge a specific fee for the allotted time and service. How full your lashes will look at the end of your touch up appointment will be greatly affected by how many lashes you have when you arrive. Please keep this in mind when determining how long to wait to schedule your refills. In order to ensure satisfactory results, we require our lash clients to return every 2-3 weeks (sometimes sooner depending on how fast your natural lashes grow and how well you maintain them in between fills).

*If you have been rough on your lashes in between fills and have lost more than normal, additional time may be needed at an ADDITIONAL COST.  If you believe additional time may be required to restore/fill your lashes, you must contact Nico Spalon at least 24 hours prior to your appointment so schedules may be adjusted appropriately.

If you are a new client who currently has eyelash extensions applied by another facility, we will require a consultation before scheduling a lash fill. The cost and time required will be determined when you arrive. For liability reasons, we will only fill lash extensions applied by another facility if they meet Nico Spalon’s standard of quality, which we will determine on a case by case basis. Lash fills CANNOT be scheduled online. If you do not pre-book all future appointments BEFORE leaving your appointment, you may be unable to schedule your fill within the appropriate time frame.

Planning Your Arrival

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so you may begin to unwind, relax, and visit the restroom. For the convenience of our clients, appointments are booked with little to no down time in between. If you arrive late, your lash artist may be required to shorten your appointment time and will be unable to offer any reduction in the applicable service charge.

Arriving on time with clean lashes helps to ensure you get the maximum time for lash application – every minute counts. Unfortunately, additional time cannot be given to clients who arrive late to their appointment or arrive with unclean lashes (ie: liquid eyeliner, mascara, goopy/sleepy eyes).  As you will need to avoid fidgeting and will not be able to get up to use the restroom once your eyes are closed and application has begun, please do not drink coffee, tea, caffeine-based products, or excessive amounts of any other beverage before arriving for your lash appointment.


While we love children, we respectfully request no children under 12 be present during your appointment. This is to ensure that your lash artist can concentrate 100% on you and your treatment, and that our other guests will not be interrupted or inconvenienced while receiving their services. As you will need to keep your eyes closed for the duration of your appointment, any distractions can greatly diminish the success of your procedure. It is against health and safety obligations for children to be in the salon unsupervised. If you arrive with your children without prior consent from management, your treatment may be refused. We thank you for your consideration, cooperation, and understanding.

Cell Phones

Nico Spalon requests that all mobile phones are switched off or to silent for the duration of your visit. We want your time to be relaxing, away from your busy day, and free from distractions to you, your lash artist, and our other clients. All guests at Nico Spalon want to be able to kick back and have a relaxing visit – listening to someone else's phone call can be disruptive and detract from the experience. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Important Note

Although you will be informed and advised regarding possible reactions or complications, any specific issue is not foreseeable by Nico Spalon’s skilled & trained staff (or even by you).  Due care is taken to ensure your safety and comfort.  We will go over your intake form with you to discuss any contraindications, such as any allergies.  No refunds will be issued for reactions or complications; however, should you experience such side effects, Nico Spalon will offer free lash removal. If such circumstances arise, we kindly ask that you contact Nico Spalon immediately so we may assist you as quickly as possible.
