Salon Policies
The staff at Nico Spalon goes through every effort to ensure your experience with us is as enjoyable as possible. We value you and your time. Your appointments are very important to us, they are reserved especially for you, and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore we have instituted the following policies to make your time with us a memorable and lasting one. LATE ARRIVALS POLICY
We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscious effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon. Thus, out of respect for our clientele, services for clients arriving more than fifteen minutes late will be honored only at salon discretion.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. As such, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations are made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee of 50% of your scheduled appointment (not to exceed $100) to be applied to your next visit. Cancellations will not be accepted via e-mail.

NO-SHOW, NO-CALL POLICY
Any appointment that a client fails to call and adjust or cancel will be considered a “no-show.” Any appointment that is cancelled without the requested 24 hours notice may also be considered under this policy. We understand that circumstances arise that may prohibit a client to do so, however a No-Call, No-Show will be charged for the amount of service that was scheduled.

SPECIALTY SERVICES POLICY
The staff at Nico Spalon is honored to offer a number of specialty services such as the renowned Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapies and Extensions. These services often require a great deal of time compared to other services offered in the salon. Therefore any service that requires more than 2 hours or is valued at over $200.00 will require a deposit of 50% of the service total before the service may be scheduled. The remaining 50% will be charged when you arrive for your appointment. We will always inform a client before charging any amount to his or her card.

RETURNED CHECK POLICY
Any returned check will result in a $25.00 service charge plus the face amount of the check to be paid before any other services can be rendered.

CHILDREN POLICY
As a courtesy to other salon guests, for insurance purposes, and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere, we ask that it is your responsibility to watch your children at all times while at the salon.

RETURN POLICY
It is our pleasure to provide you with a product of equal value or a store credit if you are returning or exchanging a product within 30 days of the original purchase, provided the product is unused and in original condition.

DISPLEASED CLIENTS POLICY
For any reason your service is not up to your expectations, your stylist will be happy to work with you to make any corrections. However, if you prefer another stylist, full service fee is required. Please call the salon within 7 days of initial service.

GRATUITY POLICY
Gratuity is not accepted on credit cards however, cash, check or Venmo are accepted options to tip your stylist.
